Contributing to FreeBSD

I recently started using Github in order to contribute to the FreeBSD project. I noticed some obsolete commands and software in the greek version of the handbook, so I submitted some commits with my changes.

It's been 2 days and no one has reviewed my pull requests. The greek translation community does not seem that active.

What should I do in order to become a contributor or even a doc committer? Who is responsible for supervising the commits? Should I wait more or get in contact with other developers?
Sorry if I sound naive but I am new to collaborative work :)

I believe, most development work is happening on Phabricator still; Github is out there but that's not the primary place the devs to go. There's a vibrant community and conversation going on in IRC and the mailing lists - you could attempt to reach out for help there.

As a side note: please be patient in general; most of the work is done by volunteers - they spend their time on FreeBSD following a best effort approach. This means, it may take a while for them to follow up on inputs. They simply need to prioritize the time they have got.

There's others you could ask for their past experience and for some guidance. grahamperrin comes to mind (the link doesn't seem to work unforuntately - here's the right one: https://forums.freebsd.org/members/grahamperrin.35084/), for example. You could reach out to him on this forum or other means.

Here's some Phabricator link: https://reviews.freebsd.org/p/grahamperrin/
