CMUS no colors in XFCE freeBSD 14Rc4

Hello,
I have FreeBSD 14.Rc4 with XFCE and tmux

trying to launch cmus and use it it fails to show any colors only black and white even tried to change theme and change terminal
color works on all temrinal apps except cmus
the problem is that it is unsable as I can't see the current selection at all
Help!

Hello.
I also had the same problem after upgrading to 14.0.
I don't know the fundamental solution, so I start cmus as follows.

% cmus --show-cursor

No color is displayed, but a cursor is displayed, making it easier to navigate.
 
this issue also in the version from ports. I have no idea whats wrong and I have contacted the ports maintainer her said he is not using freeBSD anymore.
