Chrome / firefox open context menu on left mouse button

As wrote above, both chrome and firefox open now from time to time, not always, a context menu when pressing the left button as it were the right. It is annoying, because it does it when one is selecting text or trying to set the cursor somewhere else.

Always new annoying "features", always wasting time trying to disable them.

Do you know how to disable that?

UPDATE:

I note that firefox not always allows me to put the cursor on text, but still seems to allow selection. Specially in that cases happens what I described above.

As I said long ago: firefox is not UNIX. It is strange, unexpected and mostly unwanted behaviour

Is that what you meant?
No. I mean that it does not adapt to what is custom in Unix or X11.

Example: it forces me in some cases to cut and paste using mouse menu, although on X11 it is custom to select dragging and paste with the Button-2.

Please, understand, that is only an example of what I meant. It is not about cut and paste, or if it is true what I said about cut and paste.

Other example. If you open a remote xterm and type 'firefox', firefox manages to run firefox locally. One tells it clearly what want wants and it forces something else.
