What really bothers me is the "Think of the Children" aspect.

Both in the USA "Age Verification" laws being pushed and Chat Control.

Combined they just about try and wipe out the internet.

Get your frigging CHILDREN off the internet. It was not made for them. Instead whole world suffers.
 
Don't get me wrong. "Think of the Children" is just the first layer gov surveillance abuses. Absent that they would fall back on:
Narcos, terrorists, gamblers and anybody else with a vice they can't control. $$$.
