Solved Changing default resolution for VT in VGA mode.

Is anyone aware if the default resolution (640x480x16) for vt(4) can be changed for VGA mode?

I have the same question. I was able to change colors (green text on black background), but would like to have smaller text too. Using 10.1 RC2 amd64 if that matters.

That's not possible at the moment. The resolution is set when the driver loads and automatically changes after starting X.

Thanks! I thought that would most likely be the case. I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask though being vt(4) is still very new in which case it possibly just wasn't documented yet.
