Can't login as root

I've installed FreeBSD 14.0 and after installed KDE 5 I'm not able to login as root.

I'm very new to FreeBSD and I did followed all the steps for Xorg and KDE. I've installed Xorg and added both root and my personal user to the video group, installed KDE 5 and enabled both DBus and SDDM, I'm able to login with my regular user but I can't login as root.

The issue is that I want to install sudo, but now I don't now to get any shell as a root and can't login from SDDM login screen.

That is by design. You don't want root to login there. Take your normal user, open a terminal window and use "su". OR press Ctrl+alt-F1 and you get the text console login. Return to X by ctrl-alt-f9.
