cant delete post made in error

hello I made a post on the wrong forum and could not find a way to delete the post, all I could do was edit the post and apologise for my mistake, would be nice to be able to delete your own posts within a certain time frame if posted in error,

There's a "Report" link at the bottom of each post; you can click that and request that the most delete your post/thread. Ordinary users aren't allowed to rewrite forum history. ;)
 
No need to delete anything if you feel you posted in a wrong forum. Either a mod will already have moved it or you can "report" your own post and ask to move it.
