I was getting strange errors like this earlier today. I think there may have been a problem with the server.
I would try it again, and maybe change quarterly to latest.

maybe change quarterly to latest.
Is doing that a good idea, especially just for one package? Will it try and upgrade everything other installed package from quarterly to latest as well, or will you end up with a mix of quarterly and latest packages?

I thought you should chose one or the other (quarterly or latest) and stick to it? At least if you want a quiet life.

It doesn't really say: https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/ports/#quarterly-latest-branch

I am not sure how to change quarterly to latest. The "pkg install" decided to go with quarterly.
