I got a PCIe card 240GB ( I think) it is already partitioned out. the primary side is Win10, extended is Linux, home,Linux,Home, 54GB free space ( I just gained for FreeBSD).
On my secondary drive I can split it in two leaving the right side linux, delete the partition so it is blank and unformatted, boot usb stick and it picks it and installs on it. but this is a primary split in to.
Here on this PCIe I've tried this and it does not even see the remaining space, if I use gParted in Linux and create a partition telling it to not format it, then FreeBSD still sees it as a Linux partition and will not let me delete it, or reformat it to ufs, or change it or anything. it is on a logical or extended partition.
I've tried manual and auto and nothing is working. any Ideas or tricks to get this to install on the tail end of a extended partition. I still have FreeBSD on this non ssd 2nd ary HDD.
/dev/ada1s9 is the one I am trying to get it to install on.
