Solved Can we set a virtual interface to a bhyve vm without a bridge?

I was reading this blog about having L3 routing to the VM: https://vincent.bernat.ch/en/blog/2018-l3-routing-hypervisor

In this article they setup a virtual interface / vm. How can I do that with bhyve on freebsd?

I assume I can simply use tap devices for it.
