C C source code for MP3 Player with limited libraries

mpg123 is pretty good but not that portable if you want to compile it. Would you eventually know a C source code for MP3 Player with limited libraries

audio/lame seems to have no dependencies, you'd have to pipe its output a wav/pcm player though.
