does anyone knows alternative chat networks or good discussion forums for business?
any discussion forums references that contain marketplace?

A self hosted IRCd instance will work for internal chat. We use this to protect us from crap like Discord, Slack and all the other short lived suff. Bonus is that you can attach a load of gateways to it like email and build server.

For forums, just set up a free forums. PunBB is pretty light. To be honest you might not even need them if using an internally self hosted repo / bug tracker. GitLab, GitHub Enterprise, etc provide enough functionality you might be able to get away with.

Same with Jira or Asana if you are using that.

How hard can it be to establish a wordpress or whatnot as the index page for an icq, shop links, ... that google can find without this forum linking to it? Even when I search for plague or disaster I get links to "Buy plague on amazon...", so an amazon marketplace might be a good idea.

There is a good reason for the zero tolerance, you would not like to see it broken.

• I don't see an Apple saying thanks (Their last gizmo (Time machine I think) ran NetBSD anyway).
