Brother Printer brlaser duplex tumble problem

Hi All

I've got my Brother HL-L2320OD printer working using brlaser in CUPS.

My problem is with duplexing. No matter what I select in CUPS it flips on the short edge and page 2 is upside down ( rotated 180 degrees) as a result.

I've tried editing /usr/local/share/cups/drv/brlaser.drv

I scroll down to the section for my printer and there is a line that says

Duplex rotate

I've tried changing it to normal, flip and manualtumble but nothing seems to work.

Anyone else have this problem and know a solution?

For what it's worth, with my brother MFC-L3780CDW, rather than the Brother drivers, it prints perfectly with the 'everywhere' driver.
sudo lpadmin -p BrotherMFC -E -v ipp://192.168.1.50/ipp/print -m everywhere
(with, obviously, an IP of 192.168.1.50)
A lot of times, (especially with HP, don't know about the Brother bundle because I've not used the drivers from them), the manufacturer supplied bundle adds a lot of unnecessary things.

Thanks all but the everywhere driver prints blank sheets and I want to believe that there is an easier way than running linux drivers on a FreeBSD server.

The brlaser driver does work, and it does duplex. I just need to find a way to rotate the even numbered pages.
