Where can I find brlaser-6.2 package for a brand new installation of FreeBSD 14.1 in amd64?

The version 6.2.6 doesn't work for a 2-sided printout. The back page comes out with something resembling bar codes.

Would you know where or how to get the version 6.2, which works well?

You would need to work with the ports tree and revert this commit: https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/commit/print/brlaser?id=3da98f5edb58900fbac633bf86e9f9a449d339c3

I don't know which Brother printer you have, but for what it's worth, my MFC-L3780CDW works quite well just using the CUPS everywhere driver, and scans with airscan. If all you print are pdfs, you can print with netcat
nc <printer-IP> 9100 < myfile.pdf.

I was able to create the 6.2 version package I was looking for from SirDice's advice.
