Body text in the news subforum

Would it be possible to post the entire body of the relevant mailing list message in the news/announcements subforum instead of just the title and a link, or is there a good reason it isn't done?
 
The reason is that the FreeBSD.org RSS feeds does not contain these data, therefore it isn't automatically possible to post the entire body of announcement/news entry, I'm sorry :-(
 
Ah, no worries.

Sounds like it could be a hobby project for someone to hack together later, though: Take the RSS feed, fetch the linked post if the address matches a whitelist of things we know to be mailing list posts, and give the combined results to the forum somehow (perhaps by creating a new expanded feed).
