I'm using DLZ in bind916 to load zone data from postgresql database. With EOL fast approaching for bind916, I started looking at bind918 and see that it no longer has build options for dlz.
It looks like upstream has deprecated statically linking DLZ and now only supports dynamically linking dlz drivers.
My question is, can I and where can I find the postgres driver for DLZ? It doesn't seem to be included in the port, and searching through ports I can't find a port for the driver.
Is DLZ just a sinking ship and nobody cares any more? Should we migrate to DynDB?
