bhyve Bhyve host/guests upgrade order

Greetings everyone, I have a FreeBSD 13.2 server running as a Bhyve host for two FreeBSD 13.2 Bhyve guests. As 13.2 is near EoL it's time I move to the 14.x branch. My question is should I upgrade the Bhyve host to 14.1 first then do the guests, or should I do the guests first? Also, should I go right from 13.2 to 14.1 or should I go 13.2 to 14.0 to 14.1? Thanks.
 
It doesn't matter with VMs. However, if you are running the same version on the host and in those VMs anyways, maybe jails would be a better alternative?
