Solved basic crontab question

Hi,

This migth seem like a stupid question but here I am...
I am aware of the /etc/crontab file but when I run crontab -e, where does the information get stored?

 

[getopt]

crontab -e invokes the user's crontab which are located in /var/cron/tabs.
It's all in crontab(1).
