Other Awesomewm's mouse controls, draggable borders

Does anyone know if there's a way to get draggable borders? Like traditional floating window managers

I know it's not really catered towards floating, but it definitely is towards mouse usage with the default buttons and whatnot. I like the idea of having a tiling/floating mouse centric hybrid wm, and I particularly like awesome as it's configured with lua. Combining awesomewm, wezterm and luakit and you have a very strong lua centric system that I really like to cultivate.

I know about super right click, but it would be much better to just left click on the window borders and slide. Using middle click or right click could maybe work, but I'm afraid that this would mess with the apps running themselves (like for example blender is very heavy on all mouse buttons).
https://github.com/intrntbrn/smart_borders claims to do something like this, but the only thing I really notice while using it is that it adds double borders and changes the buttons, other than that it preforms practically the same with my 2 days of testing experience.

Discussion of more mouse friendly features in the wm is cool as well
