While installing x11-wm/awesome on a 9.1-RELEASE system with up to date ports, [CMD=]make install clean[/CMD] stopped at the gtk+ step with an Error 1 complaining that cairo, which was installed earlier as a dependency, did not have X11/XCB support. However, X11 and XCB support were both pre-selected options when cairo was installed.
When I issued a second [CMD=]make install clean[/CMD], the installation completed normally for x11-wm/awesome. A quick check revealed that gtk+ was also installed.
Awesome started right up, and after nearly 2 hours of use I have seen no ill-effects from the installation glitch.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
