Any VirtualBox 7.x ?

Virtualbox 6.1 is current version in ports and packages. Virtualbox.org indicates 6.x goes end-of-life in December 2023.
Virtualbox 7.0 was released in October 2022.
Is any update to FreeBSD ports and packages expected sometime soon ?
Sadly, I don't (yet ?) have the skills or experience to help maintain any packages, but wishing I did.

Thanks for the hint. nunotex, VVD or anyone else with an interest, would you like to open a bug report for deprecation of the ports for version 6.⋯? 271146 blocking. Thanks.
