Solved Any news or information about the EOL notice for www/redmine?

On a recent update of www/redmine I saw:

This port is deprecated; you may wish to reconsider installing it:

EOLed upstream.

It is scheduled to be removed on or after 2020-06-25.

message. I'm not finding any clarity on this rather alarming alert for www/redmine.

Is there some clarity? My frantic googling turned up nothing helpful, though I'm sure it was merely inadequate.

Redmine 3x EOL by upstream, migration to www/redmine4 is supposed

In the package base, I see:

I'd think something in /usr/ports/UPDATING would be helpful, but migration to www/redmine4 is overdue anyway.
