Amiga Soundtracker Audio

Weird. Is is it a bug?

Whenever I create a text file in mousepad or emacs it's recognized as an Amiga Soundtracker File.
The icon even shifts from a text icon into a Amiga Soundtracker File icon. The file instantly opens in emacs when double-clicked.

It's probably due to the extension of the file. What desktop environment are you using? The file association is done there. Somehow it has linked your text files to Amiga Soundtracker.

Good to hear! I'm using XFCE4.

I created the file using emacs without naming any file extension. I tried the same in nano, the same result.

Whenever I name the nano- or emacs file 'network' or 'networks' the issue arise.
When naming the file network.txt no problem at all.

I've created 20 files in nano and emacs and none of them get's recognized as an Amiga SoundTracker file, but rather as .txt & .sh files.
