Admin mode

Hi,

I have just installed FreeBSD 7.1 with xfce4 as WM. I'm facing a ploblem with root permission. Some times it requires me root permission to change settings. I have to logout and logon again as root to perform. As I remember Ubuntu and PCBSD have such "Admin mode", if root required it asks for root password. Simply enter root's password and continue, no need to logout/logon.

My question is can I install such feature on 7.1 branch?

That's an issue with xfce4, not FreeBSD. The KDE and gnome desktop provide this service to desktop users, using a wrapper around sudo or su.
