zVault, the fork of TrueNAS Core, had its first official release at February 25th this year.
The initial release was unavailable short after release due to a copyright infringement notice from iXsystems. The project had to replace a big number of proprietary files and replace/rewrite them.
As they state it: "We naively believed iXsystems' claim over many years that TrueNAS CORE was open source. That was our mistake and iXsystems was within their rights as copyright holders of those proprietary closed-source files and methods to request their removal from zVault.io."
Now it is available again for download here: https://github.com/zvaultio/Community/releases/tag/zVault-13.3-MASTER-202505042329-ca844f8808
