Can't send messages

I already tried to send some reply private message twice.
No any message after doing this, no confirmation, anything.
There was couple of times the message: ' 1. This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 36 seconds.'.
But I'm talking about tried which has no any message.
Still have: 'Sent Items contains 0 messages.'
Is the message sending is working fine on forum?
It have to be approved or something?
How long it takes?

Ah, I found the option 'Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.' which by default is not ticked.
And when the message is sent, no any confirmation message appears.
Now when I ticked the option save Sent Items, I see in Sent Inbox. Thanks.
This is very unfriendly interface.

For moderators:
Anyway to include simple confirmation message when trying to sent the message?
