After last binary patch to fix ZFS issues my X appears to have begun to hang sporadically, unable to execute any programs. The mouse cursor works, and whatever is running remains running, but when you try to start any application it won't do anything. In the text console the following messages appear repeatedly when this happens:
Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
Can't open display :0.0
The fix is to shut down the X server and start it again. This does not appear to correlate with anything I am doing on the system. Nothing in the system log or X log. I am on FreeBSD 13.3-RELEASE-p1 GENERIC. Does anyone else have the same issue by any chance?
