tremc (github), an ncurses interface for transmission, has been bumped to 0.9.4 and is finally working with RPC 17 (transmission 4).
Unfortunately the port (net-p2p/py-tremc) has no maintainer anymore.
Is there maybe a gifted python coder, who'd volunteer and upgrade the...
I've installed and launched transmission-daemon to load video into folder:
/usr/local/etc/transmission/home/Downloads
where owner and access is for group and user "transmission".
Next, I installed minidlna and targeted to scan the same folder:
