I have successfully upgraded from source my old 9.2-RELEASE to 10.3-RELEASE r314043. Now i'm trying upgrade it to 11.0.
With empty make.conf i did in next order:
# chflags -R noschg /usr/obj/*
# rm -rf /usr/obj
# cd /usr/src
# make buildworld
# make kernel-toolchain
# make -DALWAYS_CHECK_MAKE...
