[Awesome WM] Issue using "vicious" module

I just checked out the net widget and it won't work with linproc since linproc doesn't record net usage. You can check yourself by typing in the command cat /usr/compat/linux/proc/net/dev For me it outputs eth0 and lo0, both of which are linux devices so you're not going to get any data. If...

[Awesome WM] Issue using "vicious" module

That really isn't much of a port of vicious since a lot of errors still exist. This is because the problem with vicious is that it relies heavily upon the linux /proc which supplies information such as cpufreq and mem usage. In freebsd /proc doesn't give the same type of information and as such...

    Wiping drives

I have never heard of that happening nor have I seen it in my lifespan of traveling between the United States and Europe multiple times every year. Now technically they do have the right to seize a computer and search it in which case your cryptography won't help at all.

    No color in Tmux

Sorry for the delay, I'm running tmux from an xterm session and echo $TERM gives 'xterm'. An SSH session works fine if that's what you're asking otherwise no tmux doesn't work through ssh either. Logining in through the console always gives me this message '/etc/termcap.db', line 0, col 23...

    No color in Tmux

I just installed sysutils/tmux on 8.0-STABLE and seem to be having a terminfo problem. With the default config, I get no color and attempting to open any CLI app like htop returns Error opening terminal: screen-256color. while vim gives me a warning message saying E558: Terminal entry not found...

just a little shell detail script that I wrote piped through cw. Most of the commands should be self explanatory (i.e. uname -ri, uptime etc etc...). The window manager part and the color theme part is still a little buggy but it's a good exercise :). The script for displaying the colors is just...

It's just pkg_version -I -l"<" | wc -l | awk '{print $1}' thrown into a wicked widget running in the background with a temporary file. Wicked has been deprecated though so use vicious or preferably bashets
