Using portmaster I eventually I get the below.
Any suggestions?

Recently updated Chrome (42.0.2311.135 (64 bit)) and now some pages with a lot of activity go black. Multiple reloads helps sometimes. Was not happening before the updates.
Running 10.0 STABLE on an amd64.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the replies. Tried to rebuild gettext, but got another undefined reference error:
/usr/ports/devel/gettext/work/gettext-0.18.1.1/gettext-tools/gnulib-lib/.libs/libgettextlib.so: undefined reference to `libiconv_open'
I pretty much cannot rebuild any port without getting some kind...
Posted this to stable. Got a few responses, but still stuck. Running 9.0 stable on an i386. Was updating some ports with portmaster after updating the ports tree with portsnap. Had a problem while print/freetype2 was updating. Before the compile started and just after the
various checks were...

Have been trying to get the linux-f10-flashplugin11 to run in firefox 12 with no success. Followed the handbook exactly; npwrapper.libflashplayer.so is installed in ./mozilla/plugins; linprocfs is mounted; about:plugins does show the plugin in firefox.
Ran firefox from the...

Having trouble getting flashplugin11 to work on firefox 12.
One issue is the correct place to mount compat/linux/proc. The handbook says
At various places in this forum and elsewhere, it says
Which is correct?

Want to completely remove all installed packages and start over and install just a few packages. I use portmaster to maintain my packages. Seems to me this is what I should do.
Update the ports tree.
Run pkg_delete
pkg_delete -a
Back up /usr/local/etc/
Clean out...
Running 9.0-STABLE. Installed openjdk7. Want this to work as a plugin on firefox. Tried to install icedtea-web. It wants openjdk6 and that install fails. Don't want openjdk6 anyway.
Tried pkg_add -r icedtea-web but the package is not available.
Any suggestions?
I'm running 9.0-stable on an old Compaq AP200 workstation (PII 686 class). Rebuilt world and the kernel. Runs great except for rebooting. It will not reboot with either the reboot or shutdown -r commands. Gets to Rebooting.... and just hangs. Need to power off/on with the button. Both halt -p...
I'm running 8-stable on an old x86 and trying to keep things updated. After a recent ports update I have the following problem on trying to run midori:

I cannot locate "libunique" anywhere on my system...
I am trying to build gcc45 from ports. Keeps crashing with virtual memory exhausted error. I seem to need this version of gcc for octave which I have been trying to install. I'm running 7-stable on an x86 with 256M ram and 512M swap.
OK, that is not a lot of memory, but it should be enough to...
I have a machine with very little memory (128M).
Swap is 512M.
When I try to compile gcc46 from ports, I run out
of swap space. Thinking of adding a swapfile.
So roughly how much memory does gcc need to compile?
Thanks.
Just updated firefox to firefox 6. Seems the link
to the executable is broken (points to nowhere in the ports dir).
Found an executable in /usr/local/lib/firefox/ and that
seems to work. Anyone else noticed this.
Running Free BSD 7.3 stable.

I'm running 8.1 stable on an old presario 700z laptop.
Have the following strange behavior: Exactly every other time that I bootup from my HD and from power down I get the message panic: zfree(0x14beaef0,48); wild pointer
This only seems to happen when I boot from my HD. I can repeatedly...
