FreeFoam is a fork of OpenFoam. The old OpenFoam in ports was discontinued long time ago. FreeFoam is much easier to port than OpenFoam. Anyone interested in porting FreeFoam?

I'm looking for a good open source BPM suite on FreeBSD. I have a small business and cannot afford to purchase an expensive commercial BPM suite, such those from Oracle, etc.

It looks like ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/amd64/packages-9.0-release/Latest (or packages-9-stable) does exist any more. What's wrong?

I try to upgrade qt4-doc:
portmaster misc/qt4-doc
and got the error:
qt4-doc-4.8.2 can't be installed: unknown USE_QT4 component 'yes'.
I checked freshports.org and the Commit History notes say:
- Replace USE_QT4=yes with USE_QT4=# empty, as there is no "yes"

Then I got this:

There is a very useful tool for bar charts. It's simple but very powerful. Released under the GPL. Hope someone could add it to port.

Atheros wireless card, FreeBSD 8.2.
Everything works, except one problem: it will disconnect after a certain period of time (10 mins, for example). To reconnect, I have to use dhclient wlan0.
To simplify the task, I wrote a simple shell script which basically repeats the above commands...
FreeBSD + KDE 4.6.2.
The printer I use requires password to access and print. Whenever any user tries to print, they are prompted for a user name and password in a dialog saying "Authentication Required". Entering user names and passwords will allow one to print. An example on Gnome desktop...
