    Software that creates FreeBSD Handbook

Just curious what software is used to create the structure of FreeBSD Handbook in HTML? I would like to create a handbook that with similar structure, which offer a table of content, split HTML/single HTML options, and next/previous page link at the bottom. Thank you in advance.

Python27 failed to compile after upgrade to 9.0-RELEASE-i386

Thanks a lot. The software can be compiled after adding back the missing link. It seems that after upgrade from 8.2-FreeBSD-i386 to 9.0-FreeBSD-i386, the link got removed. Fresh install of 9.0-FreeBSD-i386 and 8.2-FreeBSD-AMD64 -> 9.0-FreeBSD-AMD64 does not have the missing link problem.

    smartmontools-5.42_2 Package Problem

I think the pre-compiled smartmontools-5.42_2 package for 9.0-RELEASE-i386 has a problem. The self-compiled version via ports tree works okay. See below screen output capture. Is anyone having the same problem? If it is an issue for everyone, who should I report it to? $ su Password: You...

    Compiled Options in package

Thanks, another question, is there a way to check the compiled options for an installed program? (For example, someone had installed a program previously, but ports tree config has been deleted/replaced and I want to know what options he previously picked)

    Compiled Options in package

In general, how to check what options are enabled in packages? For example, how to check options include in pre-compiled samba36? pkg_add -r samba36 Is it the same as the default options in port tree? If I want some options that is not default, is that mean I have to compile myself (via...

    Second Harddisk Mount Problem

Thanks for the reminder, I didn't think of the obvious thing at first. Power off (instead of just reboot), unplug / replug cables at least solve the problem for now.

    Second Harddisk Mount Problem

Disable intergrity check via /boot/loader.conf does not solve the problem. The dmesg result show the ada0 has once detected, but next lines, it remove ada0 from the device entry. So is it like be caused by failure hardware, or driver issue, or?

After upgrade from 8.2 -> 9.0 and reinstall ports and reboot a couple of times, the 2nd harddisk no longer able to mount. Any idea? dmesg can see the second harddisk (ada0, previously was known as ad8). ada0 at ata4 bus 0 scbus2 target 0 lun 0 ada0: <Hitachi HDS722020ALA330 JKAOA3EA> ATA-8...

Python27 failed to compile after upgrade to 9.0-RELEASE-i386

I am getting undefined reference error when I try to reinstall all ports (using portupgrade) after upgrade from 8.2 to 9.0. Remove all packages (pkg_delete -a) and reinstall from port tree does not help. Any idea? ./libpython2.7.so: undefined reference to `_sem_timedwait' ./libpython2.7.so...
