I install FreeBSD 8.1 in my box which main used as a web server, and the file system is zfs. My server has 12 disks, 8G memory used zfs like this. First vdev 2 disks as mirror. Second vdev 5 disks as raidz. (now the website in this vdev) Third vdev 5 disks as raidz. When the server started...

Dell R510 with 12 disks and PERC H700 raid controller . The server main used for web server and file backup . and want to install FreeBSD Root on ZFS I found this . 12x 1TB disks can be done in multiple ways: 12-disk raidz2 vdev (10 TB, can lose any 2 disks, horribly slow, don't do it)...

I think I have solved this problem . found that when i go to /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc_tools make obj && make depend && make It will be success. so then I go to /usr/src make -DNO_CLEAN all Everything goes well !

Of course. I have ever remove all src ,make clean world ,cvsup the latest source tree..

But the question is I have ever want to update to 7 stable,and have the same problem.
