I never saw it higher then 79°C but most probably is as you said, once 82.1°C reached,
fans go to full speed and (almost) never come back to normal speed. Almost because,
it already hapend to come back to normal, _AC3 / _AC4 speed.
Temperature on the other hand should not be the issue. When...
On my ThinkCentre everything works without issues, until the temperature goes over ~60°
Then, CPU fan stop for couple of seconds and then start blowing at full speed. While temperature
is decreasing (down to under 40°) fans continue to blow and after 2-4 minutes computer hangs and
only hard...

With https://pcengines.ch/apu3a4.htm and pfSense, https://www.pfsense.org/download/, you'll have everything needed to build a 4G/LTE router.
OPNSense, https://opnsense.org/download/, a spin-off of pfSense, is also an other possibility.
Your hard drives are starving, looks like your files are fragmented
(using database (MySQL p.ex) on ZFS is often the issue).
Try to stop all jails, and check with -a that
there is no or very low disk activity before testing the raw disk speed
(just to exclude any issue with the...
BTW, while you're there, you could try the new version 4.1.4.
Get the updated ports here : http://svn.bluelife.at/nightlies/blueports.tar.gz
You have to install kBuild v0.1.9998 (devel/kBuild) before your start building virtualbox-ose port.
Current version in ports is 0.1.5.p2 (as of today)
Here are some more info.

If you're using MySQL just avoid ZFS. I had serious performance issues (slowdown) after couple of months after puting everything in production with relative small dataset (~1Gb)
Moving MySQL files to UFS resolved the issue.
Sigfrido, as this is probably a fresh installation from scratch, take a look at dovecot2 and dovecot2-pigeonhole
Most of developpement is done in dovecot2 branch, so starting with it would be more future-proof.
Purplehat how-to is quite extensive, do you still have issues with your configuration ?
Looks like you already did all the config adjustement. There could be some differences between versions
that purplehat suggested and current version of software (looking at dovecot, dovecot2 is out in...
There is a native solution :
dovecot + sieve + roundcube
Use dovecot as LDA (Dovecot LDA) with sieve support
Finally, activate managesieve plugin in roundcube.
All your users will have the posibility to manage rule based mail filtering on the server, vacation included.
Hope it helps.
Check it out here http://www.pingle.org/2007/09/22/php-crashes-extensions-workaround
You don't have to upgrade everthing (again) just run the fixphpextorder.sh
Hope it helps
You're using quite recent hardware and there is probably no ps/s connectors anymore.
I had similar issues, switching ALT+{1...9} was painfully slow, boot was delayed
for no obvious reason until I've removed following devices from kernel
device atkbd
device atkbdc
device psm
Looks like...
Hi everybody !
Since we can boot directly from a ZFS and we also have GPT support since long time,
is it possible to boot from a GPT partition with ZFS on iMac (march 2009) without using bootcamp ?
Thanks in advance
