Thanks guys -- this is good to know.
Also, kudos to whoever is building up the linux_base-c6 port. With ST2 and Skype now functioning on FreeBSD, I've been able to cut over to FreeBSD as my primary desktop.
I had to install the new linux_base-c6 port along with a set of ports patches from here to get this working:
https://github.com/cpu82/skype4-ports
Once you merge in the tree from the link, the relevant ports are:
emulators/linux-base-c6
x11/linux-c6-xorg-libs
x11-toolkits/linux-c6-pango...
I just ran across this problem -- any idea what version of FreeBSD it's going to be fixed in?
(The workaround works, obviously, but I prefer to leave the core configuration as close to default as possible).
A port for JIRA is probably trivially doable. To get Fisheye and Crucible integration going, however, requires user intervention at an application level that I am scared of undertaking :)
I've been trying without success to get samba to run in a jail, verifying users against an active directory installation.
My configurations follow.

pass in log all keep state
pass out log all keep state
First, a correction: the bridge consists of wlan0 and rl0, not wlan0 and re0. But anyhow... without further ado:

I've got a freebsd host (serenity) with two virtualised Windows Server 2008 R2 hosts (janus and cygnus) running on it. Both guests have their firewalls disabled, and and are bridged to interface bridge0 on serenity. I can successfully ping janus and cygnus from serenity, janus from cygnus (and...
