I'm not sure if this is a bug in my system since my freebsd box died on me and now I'm using a VM.. but it seems that --keep-window doesn't actually keep the window. The screen clears instead.
Can anyone verify that this is so on a bare metal box?
This is the code that I'm using:
dialog...
Today I experimented with adding a few configure options like stream555 and realplayer support.
It now works fine.
There is no video by the way, it's a radio station.
When I try to run:
mplayer -cache 512 -playlist http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r3.asx
It gets stuck in a continuous connecting loop. If I fetch the file manually and play it, it works.
Anyone else got this problem, or know of a solution?
Hi, I'd like to port my Soma app from slackware to freebsd.
I've a look at the make up of some packages and have a few questions regarding the +FILES.
If there is a resource on the web that I can read it would be good. Didn't really find much info.
Actually it's mostly the +CONTENTS...
Just a note about what I did from that howto:
# grub-install --modules=part_gpt /dev/ad0
edit /usr/local/etc/grub.d/40_custom
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
grub-mkconfig will pick up FreeBSD automatically.
/usr/local/etc/grub.d/40_custom will contain the extra OS's and FreeBSD boot...
Ok I think I've got it working. First I tried installing grub2 from slackware but that failed miserably. So then I tried from inside FreeBSD using this guide:
http://www.isysop.com/installing-grub-on-freebsd-with-gpt-partitions/
Now the patches mentioned there are already active in the grub2...
It's set in rc.conf now but still being ignored except when I ssh into the box using urxvt it works fine. Just not on the primary console, but I can live with that.
Hi, whether I use kbdmap or sysinstall to change keymap is seems to be being ignore and nothing gets written to /etc/rc.font
So I created an rc.font and added settings manually but they are still being ignore.
Any ideas?
