Assuming you have configured your network card correctly.
it could be your pc dont know to resolve domain names.
In that case edit the file: /etc/resolv.conf.

What exactly happens when you do "make install clean" in
/usr/ports/x11/xorg
(I presume you are logged in as "root", aren´t you?)

If the problem is related to the network cable (as mentioned in the

BIOS settings if a "LAN CABLE STATUS" check, when existend, is

Performed procedure to intall the port:
- kernel build with "device iicbus" and "device iicbb"
- reboot
- cd /usr/ports/multimedia/pvr250 && make
