    Is vscode broken ?

That's plain wrong. All required versions are in the ports tree, and they're all fine. Didn't you read the discussion in 270565 at least once? I linked it several times. I also explained it right here: Electron-ports are blacklisted from the package builds because they exhaust resources on the...

Instead: comment 14, which is consistent with <https://www.freshports.org/net-im/signal-desktop/#requiredtobuild> where devel/electron28 is a build dependency. <http://beefy8.nyi.freebsd.org/build.html?mastername=140amd64-quarterly&build=111fb6e9e181#queued> (done) electron28 was not queued...

Solved vscode package is no longer available

Actually, it has ... see also my 270565. This might be a misunderstanding, I think what he meant was that too often in a bulk run, electron would have to be rebuilt because the version changed from the previous bulk run. Still I think this isn't the actual problem. As I learned, the actual...

Preconfigured Xorg install in base system

...building it, even running into timeouts. But still, what happened here is not transparent at all ... (in contrast to failing builds, sure, you need some knowledge, but you can analyze it). Therefore I opened 270565 about it hoping someone comes up with a more transparent solution for such cases.
