    Poettering praises FreeBSD Capsicum

They're not particularly easy to use and they're all optional, so they turn to external sandboxing mechanisms like container runtimes.

    FreeBSD Bugzilla – Bug 289698 meta-bug for 15.0-RELEASE

We have like 2 threads now discussing politics. I prefer technical subjects.

    FreeBSD Bugzilla – Bug 289698 meta-bug for 15.0-RELEASE

I have my own reasons to slowly migrate from Brave to Vivaldi/Chromium and politics are not it. Cryptocurrencies have helped lots of people in Third World countries survive hyperinflation. At one time it was illegal to buy dollars in Venezuela and even Argentina. I'll never understand people...

    Poettering praises FreeBSD Capsicum

LOL I had a bit of trouble finding the proper title for this but I'm a bit old to care about it so I went along anyway.

What bizarre idiocy has lead to Anubus gatekeeping access to the Wiki?

I too had issues with it but the LLM scrapping bots are really bringing down the Internet.

I'm not a Conservative. This is not about Conservatives vs. so-called "Liberals". The West is so upside down that Classical Liberalism is considered conservative now.

Fixing Wikipedia should be easy. Disallow anonymous edits and adopt the git-forges model for new contributions. Some of the Nine Theses make sense, others don't. Until this is fixed, I can't trust Wikipedia on subjects such as history, biographies & politics.

    FreeBSD Bugzilla – Bug 289698 meta-bug for 15.0-RELEASE

Can someone please tell the Bugzilla maintainers that Anubis seems to fail on Brave? It'd be nice to also change this weird furry anime.

Does it work with `--ipc=host` being passed to `podman run` ?

    Rust in the FreeBSD kernel

Java still rules in enterprise settings. I don't think that's they main excuse to rewrite to Rust. Android uses OpenBSD's libc. Linux is only the kernel and it's GPLv2.

    Rust in the FreeBSD kernel

I don't think hatred is what drives most people and even organizations. There are valid technical reasons to use FreeBSD that are not related to the licenses. Most of the push for Rust+MIT is ideological, though. They do hate the FSF because of Richard Stallman.

You can run Linux containers, yes. Not any. Just the ones that doesn't rely on exotic Linuxisms that aren't yet present in the Linuxulator. And it's Jails all the way down.

Hopefully Debian dropping those arches means more visibility to NetBSD.

    Brave New PKGBASE World

The album is better than the previous albums with Blaze Bayley, yes. But the title to me is associated with Aldous Huxley's book which is a dystopia, so I thought the article was critical of pkgbase.
