Music…

At least 17 years before Eazy-E's 1987 debut, almost the same song was released on Parliament's 1970 debut album...
(This is a little less explicit version of the song Eazy was covering, written by George Clinton & Clarence Haskins)

With arguably a bit better sound reproduction on Youtube, this re-release of the same song is from a nearly identical 1990 album, retitled Rhenium

Rhenium (Re) has atomic number 75

Parliament is a later variant of Clinton's original doo-wop group, "The Parliaments," named for the cigarette brand.
This group was formed in 1956 and had one hit single in 1967, titled (I Wanna) Testify:

This recording of Testify, followed by the Stevie Wonder hit "I was made to love her" was purportedly filmed in 1969:

Have always appreciated Niche music, in my youth it was indie and emo but as it got popular I stayed away around the time Taking Back Sunday came on but I did like them, just knew the direction it was heading.

I started DJing really young and liked a lot of it but fell in love with Atmospheric jungle, Liquid and DnB. Despite a long hiatus I had a midlife crisis and dusted off the old equipment and started recording sets on occasion.

I prefer Indie and DnB these days because they are 1 name but multiple sub-genres that are their own rabbit holes, very diverse genres and never boring.

Favorite Bands:

Indie - Broken Social Scene, Pavement, Cursive

Emo - Bright Eyes, Benton Falls, Sparta, Rites

Jungle - Naibu, Paradox, Seba, Alpha Omega, LTJ, Lomax, Shogun

Steppers and Roller style DnB:

Spacey liquid:

Really good liquid:

Deep Liquid:
