How to download a Google Chat.

I've recently found a Google Chat which I thought I had lost.

Does anyone know of a way of downloading it and viewing it outside of Google Chat?

Google chat has an API. It is documented. There are client libraries for several languages. No need to even go to duck duck go, the Google search engine finds it just as well.

EDIT: You can also download your personal data from Google using takeout, which includes chat content. Also look for the term "export" when searching for that.

It would be nice to be able to download your personal data including your own content from FreeBSD forums

Have you tried posting a question at the forum developer's forum as I suggested in your thread about this topic? The FreeBSD forum lets you do what the XenForo software lets you do.
