My Wacom tablet only works after booting my laptop twice.

I have an HP 255 G7 where I use my Wacom Intuos tablet as a mouse.

That never presented problems for me until now. At the moment, if i boot my laptop after a long time without using it, the system doesn't get the movements i produce with the tablet after entering accessing Xorg. I can also notice that the led power indicator is a little weak at that moment.

If i reboot my laptop after that, the led power indicator will be brighter (the expected brightness for the indicator) and i could use the tablet properly on Xorg.

I can't really trace the moment where this started to happen, but i've been tweaking my /etc/rc.conf and /boot/loader.conf file many times these last months. I think the problems started at that time, but i can't be sure.

I will send the files for you to check up, if you need to:

dmesg output: https://pastebin.com/DNQXThme
rc.conf: https://pastebin.com/ZLkzEcyh
loader.conf: https://pastebin.com/GNAXALJ7

I'm using FreeBSD 14.3 RELEASE at this moment.
If you have any idea why this problem is present in my system, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think this is a power related problem to be honest... I have a dual boot setup in my laptop.
And if I boot Debian GNU/Linux, the tablet works perfectly at the first boot.

I have installed that system not so long ago, that's why i didn't mention it at first time!

Are tablet buttons works for you? I've got Intuos tablet as well, pen works flawlessly with webcamd + libinput without any configuration. But buttons are not. (I don't have power issue you have)

Well, maybe not the best solution. But i have installed FreeBSD again for another reason and erased my old rc,conf and loader, conf files, where the configuration for the tablet is usually made.
I followed the wiki instructions to configure the tablet and now is working correctly at any time.

Maybe there was something in the old rc and loader files that were messing up with the tablet settings.
