Solved Installing CDE

No wonder - CDE predates the Unicode standard.

I really don't see any point to use CDE nowadays (nostalgia?),
it's possible to mimicate CDE completely (including design and functionality)
using x11-wm/fvwm2, and it'll work much better, with full unicode support, etc.

the "official" port doesn't work properly, but the one created by @acheron perfectly works. That's the one I have built before from GitHub.
Official port builds perfectly with incorrect massage for starting . It was not properly tested before porting. But still mikael.urankar's port was not able to find a proper review and thus porting/place. Out of nostalgia some dev might work on unix open motif and make out of it better than gtk & qt.

Well, currently after building and installing the official port, it has to be tweaked to work.
Mikael Urankar's port works out of the box.

Mikael also fixed the ToolTalk core dump bug back in July 2017 in 1 day and had the fix on his git repository. That fix made it to the port version shortly afterwards.

I use Poudriere and Portshaker to build Mikael's CDE 2.2.4.1 and it works fine.

Hi, I just tried to install from your git, but ran into an error.
