Ah, you removed it altogether. What I was talking about, though, is that if you want to make it WORK, you use /dev/dsp2. I've removed the /dev/dsp8 parameter some time ago. Where do u see it ? I suspect that you are replying to my old posts and not to the newer ones.
For your future reference, seeing that you've spent your precious TIME on this problem, I thought it would be USEFUL for you to know.
