Dear FreeBSD Gurus!
1.
Please suggest toolset for real-time monitoring low-level network parameters NIC’s I/O buffers utilization, RTO, etc…?
I remind well-known scheme
from this Brendan Gregg presentation in 2014(!).
So, Is there for FreeBSD exist the full equivalent of this Gregg’s brendangregg/perf-tool but for FreeBSD (and especially for real-time monitoring low-level network parameters NIC’s I/O buffers utilization, RTO, etc…)?
Or I still need keeping this “zoo of different tools each with own CLI parameters and output” from Gregg’s scheme ?
2.
Are Prometheus still best tool for collecting both low-level and middle-level metrics from remote servers (for middle-term (1-3 month) analysis and graphics representation)?
Thank You all for detailed suggestions and explanation!
Have a nice sunny day!
