system too slow

Good evening, I'm new to freebsd, I like to learn or at least try to use new operating systems, I come first from windows and then linux. I installed version 14 of freebsd and kde5, I have no idea that that is the problem but I notice an incredible lag when writing and opening applications. it seems that my system is almost unable to run this operating system, I doubt this due to the fact that I have a very high-performance system with a 13900kf mounted on a z790 apex, ddr5 5800mhz and an rtx 4080, the system installed on an sm951 256GB, but the problem still arose with an installation on the 990 pro 1 TB disk.

Which version of FreeBSD, exactly? Packages from quarterly, or latest?

freebsd-version -kru ; uname -aKU

pkg -vv | grep -e url -e enabled -e priority

gstat -op will help you to visualise whether drives are unexpectedly busy.

I solved it with pkg upgrade and disabling hardware acceleration in chromium regarding typing text in the browser. thanks for the support
