No previews of PDFs

Any thoughts on why dolphin (and the "Folder View" plasma widget) refuses to show previews of PDF files? PNGs, no problem. JPGs, no problem. It just doesn't display anything but the generic PDF icon for PDF files :-(

This is with KDE 4.3.4 from ports (though, I believe this happened with previous versions of KDE4, too).

Had the same issue but on linux, and solved it after installing kdegraphics. Might wanna try to install graphics/kdegraphics4 and see if it works for you.
