FreeBSD on Amlogic S912

Returning to an old thread which got closed through some arguing....

I asked:-

Is there any chance of being able to run FreeBSD on an Amlogic S912 based system?

The S912 is an Octa-core ARM Cortex-A53-based SoC. Not sure if this used on an RPi 3....

The original - Thread 71285 showed some promise before being hijacked.

its not used in any rpi product
older amlogic 8xx used to have some support but it was discontinued
unfortunately there is no support for 9xx and probably wont be any time soon. however linux works if you care about it
