Forum doesn't work with secure HTTP

Any link which points to https, giving me error:

This Connection is Untrusted

Technical Details
forums.freebsd.org uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

Using Firefox 3.6.10

How I can be sure, that I can trust this forum, if Firefox says: DO NOT!?
 
Unless you want to give your credit card details, take my word and trust it!
To acquire a valid certificate from a trusted 3rd party authority would require money which the *BSDs simply don't have.
